Broke down car
Wintry night
Forest flurries
think up blizzards
Trudge deep footsteps
Forgotten parka
Cold cold coming
Seed of silent prayer
Surprised partridge
explode from snow
In a silvery clearing,
a half-seen ghost
trying winter wings-
Albatross of the woods?
Coming for to carry me home.
